No Turn Signals - 4/10/2008 11:34:58 PM    dieman   Posts: 21 Joined: 4/10/2008 Status: offline Hi,    I am the owner of a 1994 accord ex 4 door. The other day my girlfriend noticed my front driverside turn signal wasnt working, so I went to the auto parts store and bought a replacement bulb. When I went to install it I found the housing was cracked and the light was filled with water. I drained the light housing and fixed the crack but the contacts to the bulb had become coroded, So Im laying in the driveway jiggling the bulb to try to get it to work with the car running and the turn signal on when all of a sudden all the turn signals front and back just stop working. I have checked both interior and underhood fuse boxes but cant find any blown fuses. I also replaced the flasher above the interior fuse box but still have nothing. Does anyone have a suggestion???. RE: No Turn Signals - 4/11/2008 11:39:39 AM    sir_nasty Posts: 6309 Joined: 2/23/2006 Status: offline If the hazard lights work, and the turn signals do not, AND you are CERTAIN that all the fuses are good (Like #32 in the under hood fuse box...)  then there is a good chance that your combo switch isn't working....  I'd start by double checking fuses, then pull the old bulb out, make sure the hazzards work still, then try the turn signals, if it doesn't work then you obviously don't have power to any of the bulbs, now we need to backtrack to under the dash and see if you're getting power to the turn signal relay... now since my brain isn't functioning right now I don't know if you've got the KG, KH, or KE model so my wiriing diagrams aren't doing me any good.....  Download a manual from the link below if you don't have one already http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Accord/ _____________________________ 1981 Civic Station Wagon - ROhnda (Really Old Honda) 1981 Honda CB650 Motorcylce - WHEE What More can I say? 2000 Lexus RX 300 - Oooh baby my wife let me drive it once!! RE: No Turn Signals - 4/12/2008 6:19:39 AM    lightningd   Posts: 14 Joined: 12/8/2007 Status: offline if somehow the water shorted out the circuit then it possible it could have fried that circuit in the ICU (integrated control unit). I have seen this before, same sympton where turn signals don't work, but hazards do, etc. ICU is pricey too, over $200 back then when i fixed it. _____________________________ Accords are extremely stable over 100mph (in reply to dieman) Post #: 11

RE: No Turn Signals - 4/12/2008 9:30:01 AM    new2accord   Posts: 23 Joined: 3/31/2008 Status: offline i ran into a simalar prob last week, in my case it was the flasher dash switch (all you wiring runs thru it) mine would engage but not dis-engage, my flashers worked while my blinkers did not, like i said similar, make sure the hazard switch is working properly, mine was easy to get to because i have the radio out. I orderd a new bulb boot??? I think its called from the dealer friday ($8.95) but it wont be in untill mon at the earliest. I will keep all posted when I replace that.
