when starting up the car the idle will be at 2000, but when engine warms up, the idle starts to jump. it goes from like 2000 rpm then drops to 700 rpm really fast continiously after the engine is warm. also when driving the car, when shifting into 3rd, the gears hop. it will still shift into 3rd but it kinda skips then go into gear. i have the car at the shop and they don't even know whats wrong with it. if anyone knows whats wrong please let me know.

if this info helps, i have a rebuilt head with camshaft and 20lbs over valve springs from f22 parts and stainless steel valves. and its a 97 accord LX a/t.

it sounds like a vacuum leak.... I'd start by checking out surging idle in the DIY section.
