back fire.... that's how it's called... means a cylinder got out of timing and fuel did not burn completely and the valves opened before they were supposed to. Meaning that the explotion continues through the piping. Excess  nitrous makes the same reaction. (Now we can keep talking about dictionaries)

Exhaust flames are the topic.

I was referring to the debate over dictionaries.

dictionary.com does not use that definition.check again because i just came from that site.

Buddy, there are so many types of dictionaries out there it's not even funny. I was just trying to show you that there are multiple definitions for the same word. Both dictionary.com and yourdictionary.com are reliable, legitimate, trustworthy sites. Just because you hadn't seen that definition of the word does not automatically make it wrong because it didn't appear on your website.

Ok well thats not the definition i was trying to put out there.is that better and that flamethrower crap is completely RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDD OUT!

i guarantee other racers will be laughing at your car that seems to push out flames but yet you're getting 25 seconds on a quarter mile

you better be getting 7 seconds and under on a quarter mile if you want to be doing all that flame nonsense because that makes it look like your engine is powerful!

Do you have any idea how fast 7 seconds is let alone "under"?  I'd be happy as a pig in $h!+ if I can get my tC under 12.8.  Of course I will do what I can to get it as fast as possible and still keep it drivable, but let's try to be a little reasonable with our comments.  If that same rice rocket was pushing 14 seconds in a quarter, he's still smoking most of the highly modded accords on here and you want that time cut in half?  For that, you'd likely need ron patrick's REAL afterburner-jet engine!

of course i know how fast that is

and of course there are cars that have hit 7 seconds so what are you talking about...you say it like its impossible

lmao alright ill be reasonable... 11 seconds...either way what i am trying to state is that if you not packing a powerful car then you shouldn't be giving the impression you do.

LMAO you know whats so hilarious...the fact that i am going to use a dictionary to end my say....here read this...

1.
ricer

2752 up, 248 down

(Ricer: from the latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt)

A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):

- Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder
- Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747
- Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but must be cool
- Expensive rims that usually cost more than the car itself
- Bodykit to make the car appear lower, usually accented with chicken wire
- Clear tail lights and corner signals
- A "performace intake"- a tube that feeds cold air to their engine usually located in areas of excessive heat (behind or on top of the engine)
- Most of these riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are imports; Honda Civics, Accords, Integras, CRXs, RSXs, Del Sols Mitsubishi Eclipses, Lancers, Subaru Imprezas, however there are some domestics such as Chevrolet Caviliers, Dodge Neons, Ford Focus; small, slow, economy cars designed specifically to go slow. Please note that some Supras, Skylines, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed to go fast, and are therfore not always considered rice. It really depends on the severity of the case.

The "ricer" attempts to make their car "performance" by adding the modifications listed above. These ricers are not confined to any one ethnic group or color, however different ethnic groups are known for certain styles.
Honda Civics with big spoilers and 4" exhaust tips are considered to be ricers.

just in case heres the link...

hey it be like that sometimes. i already have taken off my muffler last week(not to mention it was getting annoying to listen to and drawing too much attention from cops) and whatnot because i already have percieved myself as a ricer, so trust me i know. but you're right i was. i just havent updated it yet. but the car is a looker now. i'm working on the 240 now, whats the point of tuning up a car thats not going to get to the point i want. so i might as well change it to a D.D. but thank you for pointing my signature out because it does need to be updated.
