I will be switching my 03 Accord over to full synthetic soon (probably Mobil 1 or Valvoline), but now what oil filter? For the first couple of changes I don't see going beyond my Dino oil change interval. Are the standard Fram and the like oil filters OK or do I need a higher end filter? One that I can buy at a local Autozone, NAPA or the same type store and that doesn't cost a fortune would be nice. Just called Autozone they have 5 qts Valvoline Synpower Full synthetic and a fram tough guard oil filter for $20. Is that a good setup? Thanks, Mark

Meh, Fram is not liked too much around here, but they sure are popular on the domestic end of things. Filters a lot of us use around here are are Mobil1, Purolator, Filtech, Honda Genuine, and Wal-mart brand (Supertech?). If you're going to be running a full synthetic and throw more miles at your engine then get a filter that can match.
