That would've been pretty funny ..... looking back.  We still talk a little.  She was pretty good with going fast, just not in neighborhoods.  We'd take road trips and she'd sleep right through 100 mph rips with other cars, no racing, just spirited driving on open road.

We both had 6th gens.  My V6 would average about 280 miles to a tank and hers would get up to 400 or a little more.

HPJ, you can get it that low with a 4 banger?

i was saying 18 MPG was accurate for what you said and how the video shows how aggresive you drive lol

HEll yeah you can...one time i had like 17 MPG but thats cuz i was testing that theory about speeding and how driving aggressively can put a sharp drop in your MPG...that hurt when i calculated it...but usually i get 22 - 25 MPG and thats with a failed O2 sensor because i have no catalytic convertor...18 MPG is pretty good for alright for a V6.

OUCH!

and with gas going up day by day, it'd hurt to deal with tthat!i wonder how these people with hummer's and lambo's doing it with gas so high!because they get like 9-12 MPG...and thats driving passively,i'd hate to see what happens when you drive aggressively!probably get like 3 MPG

That car --- 10 minutes warm-up on the auto-starter, <10 miles driven (NJ is all city driving, especially on the highways!), park

I live in NJ and commute to NYC via NJ Transit Busses.

As for your question, listen to my ex-gf in my 0-60 video that was shot in my neighborhood!   Video
7.4 sec. with a bad 1-2 shift .... not bad.

Better an ex-girlfriend than an ex-wife.....

I am a big believer in a long dating period

I just got back from a 1000 mile round trip over a 3 day period.

I have a 2001 Accord EX 5 sp with Vtec engine.

I checked my MPG after 3 fill ups and noticed that I started at 30 MPG and ended at 32 MPG.

This is the best I've ever seen on this Accord since owning it for the last year.

The only thing I did before I left on the trip was to check tire pressure and cleaned and regapped spark plugs to 0.035".

**you committed the mortal sin and spelled it "vtech" so I fixed it for you** - lx5spd

Instead of worrying about spelling VTEC correctly I'm going to change the wording on top of my engine to VTECH.

Huk'd on fonics werked for me!

If you can afford a H1 or H2 or a Lambo, you can afford the gas.

I used to hit 7k every day in the AV6, but I didn't have it floored all the time.  That video was a timed 0-60 run.  It's a bit harsh to assume that is how I always drive!
