anyone want to tell me how to set timing in a 98 prelude

Spark timing?

Maybe it's like the '98 Accord I used to have.  The distributor does not have slotted mounting holes, so you can't really adjust it.

But to check it, warm it up & jumper the SCS connector.  Then a timing light should show the pointer at the larger middle mark of the set of 3 notches in the rim of the crankshaft pulley.
