I have a 2000 accord LX that's currently stock. I've been looking at CAI's for a bit now and I have a few questions i haven't seen on the forum yet. I've been looking on ebay and found quite a large variation of whats available. Most of what's under $100 is in two pieces and does not offer a mount for the air sensor. I'm curious as to whether or not there is any difference either in performance or flexibility of making adjustments between the 1 and 2 piece models. Also, how important is it that i have the mount on the CIA for the sensor? I've been reccomended to get K&N and i see them referred to alot, but it's a little over what i'd like to spend. Usually over $200 even on Ebay. I found a Fujita (Link) for $177 that's one piece with the mount for the sensor and that's a price range i'm willing to go to. Any recomendations?

Also, I don't want something that's ridiculously loud or gives me that rice rocket sound. I can't stand that, I like a nice throaty sound.

I have a 2000 LX 4cyl and I have a BomZ short ram intake with an AEM filter on the end of it.  I didn't have any sensore so plug in so I am not sure what you are talking about.  I did not think there was any sensor that needed to be hooked up even with a CAI.  Here is a link to a DIY from the DIY section: http://filtsai.com/accord/AEM-CAI/index.php  there is no mention in there about a sensor either.
Do you have a 4cyl or a V6?
You may want to post that info in your signature like mine below. If you don't have a signature, many people will not respond.

Thanks, I have a 4 cylinder. If you look on the ebay listing i posted, there's a mount for a sensor. I don't know if i have one, i'm assuming prob not since you didn't.

Y'know, i did too. Thanks for the help and actually answering my question or maybe showing me where the posts are that I apparently didn't see when i searched "cold air intake" on this forum. That would have actually been helpful.
