Just an update on the toys sitting in my basement: spare cylinder head, 18g turbo system, AEM F/IC with P&P harness. All that I need for the turbo system are IC piping, oil lines and return bung, instrumentation (boost gauge/controller, Wideband O2, Oil Pressure ..... if I can find something to do this, I want a combo Oil Pressure, Fuel Pressure and EGT gauge to fit in a single opening.

The design of the piping isn''''''''t the problem ..... I have to find some time that my machinist buddy .... who just got married 3 weeks ago and has a 5 month old daughter ...... and I can build the piping. We will have to fit the IC on the car w/o the bumper and piece together the piping to fit ...... he does all of my welding work, after all, he is a master machinist!!! Brandon ..... the turbo is tiny. The IC has to match the turbo. Bigger is not better here, IC and turbo pairing is a delicate science ..... plus, I got a great deal on the majority of the hardware as a single package. Lastly, the lower grill opening in my car is about the same height as the IC. I think it could be 2-3 inches wider, but the end tanks make a lot more of a difference than the little bit more coil would. Remember that I still have to fit elbows on there and I don''''''''t want anything cut for the install ..... lots of these installs do involve cutting; the guy that sold me the turbo for example. EDIT: Maybe over the weekend, I''''ll take a pic of the spare center console that is in the white box .... and the blue box has a pair of OEM 6th gen accord headlights if anyone is interested in them. ANOTHER EDIT: I-m surprised that nobody commented on my oil filter setup!!! Those things are massive!!! I think they are about 4in dia. by 6 in tall and the black and red one filters 10% of the flow down to 10 microns!!!

I want to blackhouse and CCFL a pair, so give to meh now! I''ve been looking for ages! And those filters are like the "short man''s complex" for the tC. hahaha

Brandon .... they''re all yours. If I knew that I had them, I would have swapped out the TYC/HID-s when I got rid of the car. What are they worth? I haven''t even looked them up ..... PM me what you feel is a fair price .... I think they were used for about 5 years, but I believe that they are in good to great shape. I''ll take a look tonight. The filters serve a few purposes. Obviously, with Amsoil Series 2000, I can go for pretty long intervals between oil changes, but I don''t see keeping oil for over 6 months with a turbo. Also, this system plus an oil cooler will increase my capacity about 2 quarts, so the oil will be able to stay a little cooler. 10 micron filtration is the shiznit ..... cheap insurance for the little snail that-s going to be screaming at people as I blow by them.

From my studies, the lag should be very small. The output will be double that of the stock build.
