You can run the remote turn on lead to your fuse box.  Wire it up to something that comes on with the igintion.  I use the radio fuse cause its small amperage.  You dont need a lot of juice just a small signal to tell the amp to turn on.

You can use the auto aerial lead I found on some installs and hook the remote amp wire to that and it will switch it on, my Hyundai has that rigged on a Mutant Amp/Sub setup and works fine.

I think its a yellow wire but check first.

u could also run a remote wire to 12+ power wire, so the amp would turn on. Then add a kill switch so that u could tun it off.

You should run a remote wire to the back of the radio following the signal(RCA) wires and wire it into the RED wire. The red is the "switched" power that turns on when you turn the car on. and this is what certified techs do... let me know how it turns out.

The remote wire is blue, sometimes with a white stripe ..... the HU has it, just find it on the wiring diagram that is stuck on top of the unit.

Most "modern" headunits only utilize the power antenna wire when the radio is being used. The amp will shut off if you switch from "Radio" to "Disc" or "iPod" etc.

Usually the deck has blue for power ant. and blue/white for amp, or vice versa. If you have no luck with that, just tap into the red or yellow ignition power, NOT the "always hot" wire or you'll drain your battery from having the amp on all the time.
