Well if you enjoy modding cars then go for it.
I hate it when people say that modding an Accord is stupid, yet they dont know a tire from the seatbelt.

Go for it, and show them what an Accord can do.  While simple bolt ons wont add much power it will be more fun to drive.  You could always add a turbo or supercharger.  Check out youtube, there are some really nice and fast Accords of your Gen.

Besides if modying an Accord is so stupid then why are there so many sites for Accord modifcation and parts?

Do whatever you want too. Its your money and time. 6th gen coupes are the sexiest body style that Honda made(sorry other gens). It doesnt take much to make them look hot. Wheels, drop, lip kit, tint, and your car will look hot

NNAAAhh.  NSX is the sexiest body style they made.  Followed closely by the DB8.  Or maybe the S2000.

and as for modding your accord, the F series arent a bad platform to start with... they are pretty torquey, i figure some bolt ons would make it decently fun...

i have a 6th gen as well, when it still had the F23 in it i didnt think it was worth doing any mods to, so i did the best thing you can do for that car, a motor swap, i went with the h22a4, they are pretty much a drop right in swap, and it makes it oh so much more fun.

Define tuning. Are you talking engine work or what?

I was limiting it to Accords... Of course i think the s2000 and nsx are better looking cars

woohoo go 6th gens! i agree they are sexy, and i'm not saying just because i own one haha.. and especially the 01-02 cuz they're tailights are nicer than the other earlier years of the 6th gen..

and yeah..at least its not a civic! if your not driving an si , you pretty much driving a girl car, lmao, not to be a sexist or anything, but those are usually all girls "first" car anyways..

and what do your coworkers drive? hopefully its not a hyundai haha

and to sum up this post, go ahead and tune your accord! like jman said, rims, drop, and a lip, and your set, you'll be passing out neck braces in no time
