welp, turbo piping 2 1/2inch, fmic 3inch core, greddy bov, turbosmart 38mm wastegate, boost controller, hoses and all the happy little screws, bov and wastegate gaskets, bov flange for $360

Already have:
drag turbo manifold $355
t3/04 turbo $280

Need:
5 bolt Down pipe
wastegate downpipe
screws for turbo to manifold
gasket for manifold to exhaust, turbo to manifold, turbo to downpipe, down pipe to cat
boost meter
a cute fuzzy kitten to blame when i find out the wastegate has a 15psi spring in it, and my engine blows. I think this one might be the most expensive piece......

yeah, two main reasons why turbos are better for f series engines, first f engines have basically a 1 to 1 hp to ft lbs torque ratio and that transfers over when you run boost, to get that on an h series you have either change the crank, and or change the rods and pistons which brings me to number two, the h22 mentioned for swapping has no less then a 10:1 compression ratio which means you have to run less boost otherwise you will brow the engine, so if you want to run a lot of boost you have to change the pistons, and if you change the pistons you might as well change the rods as well, oh..... theres a third thing...... if you want you can run a lot of boost on the f series engine...... why? cause if you blow it they are cheaper then the h series lol

actually had a friend recommend that to me but i want an engine thats strong and wont blow up on me lol

I forgot to mention the down pipe will hit if your car is lowered. If it's normal height you should be fine. I don't think civic's have that flex pipe on the down pipe like accords do. I believe you need that because of the length.

if you close the deck you can run about 30 psi in your f series.or if you get some darton ductile iron sleeves

I want a second f and I plan on closing the deck and the like.

I had some dude in a fixed up lancer (not an EVO, though) stop next to me after trying to race me and asked what motor I had in my car. Haha these f's are great!

Good luck with the turbo project, marbro. Sounds like you're well on your way to having a real life turbo honda.
