Status: offline 		I doesn't cost THAT much for intake headers and exhaust.

I bought all three of mine off of Ebay.

Headers and down pipe were like 80
Catback exhaust was only 150
(It sounds sick, don't talk shi*)
New intake was about 40

I also got both tower braces, and rear lower tie brace all for under 60.

These prices include shipping. In fact, shipping costed me at least 1.5 times the price of the actual parts.

I WILL ADMIT THAT PARTS SOMETIMES SEEMED CHEAP OR NOT WELL DESIGNED. However, this is the sellers fault. Two sellers sold cheap crap, but I've had quality parts from quality sellers off of Ebay.

Status: offline 		I agree w/ u... not everything on ebay is crap... my purchased a lot of thing from ebay for my turbo kit almost a year ago and it''s still working fine... Only problem I''ve got was the coolant hose broke and it stained my car (I lended my car to my g/f and she didn''t said anything to me... since coolant is corrosive, it staind my engine...im sooooo pissed) but the car is ok...

as for PVC...exhaust gets from 800f to 1300f... not good on PVC im guessing it was a joke

Status: offline 		PVC would actually be ok for an intake haha. As long as you slap a good filte ron the end.  I''ve seen one before.  It looked horrible, but I''m sure it works just as well as the expensive systems.
Yeah with a 4cyl you may gain a few HP in the mid to high range RPM''s with a header, but you will actually LOSE HP and Torque in the low range RPM''s.  That turns many people (including myself) away from a header.
If you got a V6 though (98-02 model), definitely get headers.

Status: offline 		yeah... intake doesn''t get hot... a buddy of mine has an acura integra w/ a PVC filter and a mosquito screen on it... once it fell of about 100miles from his home and we put his sister''s panties as a filter... it was very funny...
