ok so my skunk2 came in for my accord. so i lifted my car and set it on some stands. and started taking the stock exhuast sytem. now it was all fine and daddy tell i got to the peice thats conected to the cat... i can NOT budge them. i tried heating up the bolts. and using a breaker bar. nothing worked. so my friend said get the Hack saw and cut off the nuts and beat the bolt out with a hammer and screw driver. GOOD IDEA OR BAD? is my question.?

The bolts are part of the cat. Just cut the nuts off the bolts.

I would let them sit in some WD40/PB blaster or any other type of thing like that you get the idea.

then try, and if that doesnt work, break out the torch.

and what were you heating them up with? because a blow dryer wont do the job lol.  and if you have a torch to heat them up with just torch them off

yea, everyone told me to cut my bolts but i didnt want to just yet. so i sprayed the bolts with PB Blaster and let it soak for a couple of minutes. I then dried the area around it and then torched the bolts a lil bit. be careful. the stuffs flammable lol but yea, it took the bolts off. I used a special socket...the kind with the sharp grip inside.
