I would think that it is almost impossible to have 25 volts on anything electrical in the circuit.  The maximum voltage can only be from the battery.

I want you to measure the battery voltage across the battery posts.  I put a picture of the proper setting from your volt meter.  Post the battery voltage.

The diode test I belive is the one that I have circled for continuity.  Atleast it does on my multimeter.

The resistance test will definitely work.  A closed circuit will read zero or pretty close to zero.  An open circuit should read one.

Post your results.

You do not need to replace the fuel pump.  It is getting power and delivering fuel pressure.  The dealership is wrong.

I think that it could be your main fuel relay shorting out.  Just looked at the wiring diagrams.

Do the same continiuty test on the non red/blk wire.  Just unplug the main fuel relay and keep the ECU unplugged.

that would be a cheaper fix, ok I tested all the wires you told me to test, i forgot which side i tested but what ever side is suppose to have 11.9 or 11.7 volts i tested, also i tested the other side and got 0. so closed circuit as you said right?

That is right.  I wanted to make sure that you had all of the connectors to the ECU unplugged when you did this.

Post 49 you say the other side has closed circuit?  Closed to what?  Under what conditions?  It''''s NOT supposed to be a closed circuit.  Maybe that''''s the problem?

That wire is only supposed to be closed to ground during the brief moment when the injector is actually firing.  Not ALL THE TIME.

Jim,

You are correct.  That side should not be shorted to ground.  I meant that HondaPsycho was correct in that a 0 reading was a closed circuit.

I was looking at the wiring diagrams for the MFR.  The injector ground wire controlled by the the ECU is also used by the MFR to pin A23 of the ECU.

If the MFR has a short from the A23 to the A7 (pins 1 and 3), then this could explain both problems.

Ok the ECU is unplugged, the fuel pump is unplugged and the key is in the II position.
