So the non-red/black wire is supposed to be momentarily switched between open & ground by the ECU.  With the ECU unplugged, that wire should NOT be connected to ground. I will post ASAP. RE: I need imediate help please - 6/12/2008 10:30:55 PM    PAhonda   Posts: 1348 Joined: 9/22/2006 Status: offline The circuit is still closed to ground even with the ECU unplugged, which means that the ECU is fine.  The short to ground is coming from somewhere else.  Wireharness or MFR.
