Then the non-red/black wire should NOT have continuity to ground.  It should be an OPEN circuit - meaning NOT connected to anything.

I don''t see how the fuel pump could cause your problem.  It only gets power from the main fuel relay.  If the relay keeps supplying power, then the fuel pump will continue to run.  There is no way for a failing fuel pump to keep the main fuel relay turned on.

I''''m not sure what you mean.  Should the connector click once?

You should unplug the MFR and test for continuity on the non red/blk injector wire.  See if the circuit is open.  Post back your results.

fragments of information sucks when we can''t post a BIG LONG post all together in one place.

So the non-red/black wire is supposed to be momentarily switched between open & ground by the ECU.  With the ECU unplugged, that wire should NOT be connected to ground.

With the ECU plugged back in, that non-red/black wire should only be connected to ground in pulses.  If it''s continuously grounded, then maybe the ECU is fried.

Closed to GROUND?  Constantly?  NOT supposed to be.

The circuit is still closed to ground even with the ECU unplugged, which means that the ECU is fine.  The short to ground is coming from somewhere else.  Wireharness or MFR.

Post back your tests with the main fuel relay unplugged.  The non red/blk wire should be an open circuit.

I thought the MFR was not in that side of the circuit at all.  Its only in the hot side of the injector circuit (red/black wire).  Not in the ground side of the injector circuit.

I can''t write a long post.  Basically the MFR grounds constantly at ECU pin A23 and A23 is the ground for the injectors.
