For injector ground-leg to be closed all the time means MFR *AND* ECU have to close.

MFR supposed to be closed constant (key on).
ECU only supposed to pulse closed.

Do you have a 1996 wiring drawing?  OBD-2 has different pin-out than your 1995.

I know that 1998 A23 isnt injector ground.

I do not have the wireing diagram, im only 18 yrs old, and im in my first year of physics, lol. I will try to read it though. But i did test the wires on the injectors the non blk and red side is getting no voltage and the other side has continuity of about 11.2 now...battery is dying. was 11.8

I just looked at a 96 wiring diagram.  The pinout is different, but the overall setup is the same.  A10 is the ground for the Injectors.

LOL Im not raggin about your age.  Question about wiring drawing was mostly for PA because pin A23.

Red/black wires should have battery VOLTAGE.  Not measuring continuity there.

Other wire is measured for continuity, not voltage.

Reply to my email so I can send you more detail.

Ok jim i went out and tested the injectors again.....i see what you were saying now, they are all being grounded out. I put the pin on one of them and it opened the injector they all opened the injectors. it was just a test to see if it was all or just two. But one side has voltage of about 11.6 and other side has continuity of about 068(non red/blk side) with key on (all the time). but until i can get those injectors to stop grounding out i cant try and start the car just yet.

by the way arent the injectors grounded by the ECU meaning that the ECU is malfunctioning...dont forget about solid CEL and no code, tried to jumper.

Injectors being fired by bad ECU or wiring short.  Need to figure out which.

If all is OK, CEL supposed to be on solid when jumpered.

I think the ECU is grounding the injectors and is not sending that signal to cut the ground, Pa said in a earlier post the Fuel pump is controlled by the relay?

Pump is switched by the main relay, but the ECU tells the main relay what to do.  If you get a new ECU for the injectors, lets see what happens with the pump.

I was curious about this thread, did the new ECU fix your problem?
