Intake/Header/Exhaust are probably the most common before suspension and wheels. Stay away from chips on eBay.

yea Intakes header exhaust.
AEM makes Some Good CAI Greddy for Some headers. or DC Or Megan Skunk2,evo2,Apex, for exhaust
all great products

Don't forget Injen or Fujita for CAI units
OR
the eBay route

I'd say get either a CL-S OEM sway bar or get an aftermarket pair of them. Best bang for your buck in suspension.
Being able to take turns comfortably 10-15 mph faster makes the car a lot more fun to drive!

i would say Intake, Header and Exhaust...(just as what ziwang55 said)...but i would really check my car first what is really needed like if you still need some fixes then do that first and then do the performance...

well my rides got 43000 miles on it maybe i need to replace a few things or so. but im really glad with the stock suspension system on the car its better than what i expected pretty stiff for stock. well if i get headers and exhuast how would i know that it would fit together. and im thinking about gettin the aem v2 for intake. but it just came out so i dont really know how that would do.

CL-S rear sway is 19mm TL-S rear sway is...24mm.
Take your pick....but the bigger the rear sway bar is the more neutral your ride is.

what?

rear sway bars
ziwang55 -> RE: first aftermarket part? (6/8/2008 9:37:51 AM)
are they better than aftermarket for the price?
ford -> RE: first aftermarket part? (6/8/2008 1:32:37 PM)
if your gonna buy headers and exhaust, look for the inlet and outlet sizes... i think the exhaust piping is usually 2.5" or 2.25" which i think will fit your stock catalytic converter if you keep it...
basically you try to match all the inlet and outlet into 1 size(or maybe very close to it)...so it would all fit...

should i look into headers or exhuast first or down pipe? is the down pipe come with header?
ford -> RE: first aftermarket part? (6/9/2008 3:22:04 PM)
most of the headers today has the header and also the downpipe...
i cant really say...what do u want to do with your car? are you going for Forced Induction (turbo/supercharger) or are you going NA(normally aspirated - which im gonna be going for)?
if your going for NA..then the simple upgrades you can do with your car is Intake, Header, Exhaust.. i would say do the exhaust first if you cant do the the full exhaust system yet...
