Hi, I'm a new college graduate as of this week and I'm going to be
buying a new car so I was hoping to find someone here who knows about
cars. I need this to drive around boston in (so they need to be able
to handle in the snow). My parents are helping me out with the down
payment so this is pretty much it for my price range (I don't want to
have to take on much more debt). I've narrowed it down to the Toyota
Yaris, the Honda Fit and the Hyundai Accent. Anyone see a clearcut
winner between these? Right now I'm leaning towards the Fit because
I'm partial to Hondas.

Here are the car choices:

those are all fairly good cars but the yota and honda have really good reputations but lately hyundai has been coming up very well.the sonata and tiburon perform better then what i have expected from them.soooo i really wouldn't be able to come to a conclusion on to which vehicle to pick, all of them are great on gas and  performance and with gas prices rising day by day thats something you should be really looking into.

Look at the (many) positive reviews of the Fit. I just don't see how you can go wrong with that one.

We're all partial to Hondas around here. Although I don't know specifics of any of those cars, I have ridden in each of them and the Fit is by far the best... the others just feel too cheap.

I sat in the Fit and was really surprised at how spacious the car felt inside! I'd stick with the Accord!

I sat in the fit when looking at my acccord. I'm 6'4" and felt small in that car, I think it has more room than my accord lol.

Of the ones you listed, I would say the Fit.

The reviews say that the Fit is a blast to drive.  If you're thinking about resale value down the road, the Yaris and Fit would better than the Hyundai.

From what I understand, the Hyundai's have great engines in them, but they end up having electrical problems in the future. Koreans... not as hip as the Japanese, imo. Honda all the way.
