hey everyone i need to figure out what bolt pattern a rim is, is there a way for me to measure to figure it out, these are 4 lug aftermarket rims, and for some reason they won''t fit on a 98  4 lug civic, so if anyone knows how i can measure a rim for bolt pattern please help me out, thanks

It might say on the back of the wheel somewhere... Look closely

if it doesnt fit a civic its not a 4x100 which means its more than likely 4x114.3.

try it on your accord and see if it fits cause accords are 4x114.3

Civic is 4x100mm (4")
Ford Focus is 4x108mm (4.25")
Accord is 4x114.3mm (4.5")

Those are the popular 4 lug sizes. Measure from bolt center to bolt center to get the diameter.
