My last post wont load for some reason, I was looking to upgrad my handling and reduce roll without spending a ton....
I have 225/45/ZR17 LingLong tires and was looking to spend 150-200 to try to tighten things up,

My friend has a subaru and said his car was remarkably more aggressive around corners when he added a strut tower bar

This is one i found, plus greddy''s a great name

You think this is a good deal? What I should be looking for? Free shipping for $121

Thanks for the opinions.....  Should be an easy install if i buy...

Wow, I might even buy one too. You would have better results upgrading the sway bars first. That would tighten things up hella more since it moves and the strut bar doesn''t.

finch13,

I had my strut tower brace on for a few years before adding the rear sway bar, and the strut bar helps lots even by itself.  The strut bar doesn''t move, as you say, but it keeps the strut towers from flexing by locking them together.  Much more planted in the corners.

winndogg34, you can find strut tower bars for less than the one you''re looking at.  Neuspeeds might not be as purdy, but they work and for half the price.

Do your research on sway bars too.  Opinions vary, but the understanding I have is to stiffen up the rear sway bar and leave the front stock, which will help make the handling more neutral.  You won''t need big fat sways at both ends unless you plan on building a track car.

yeah i''ve heard the same... rear sways are the way to go... matched up with a nice strut tower bar... stick to the road alot better

neuspeed on their website wanted 299 for front sways and 229 for rear sways.... seems expensive as hell to me...

i''ll keep searching...

thanks for the info.....
