my fiance''s power steering pulley shattered last night and the belt broke.. i want to pick up a pulley from the junk yard, but im not entirely sure how to replace the pulley and belt. does anyone know of a detailed diy? or could someone write one up? that would be awesome. thanks a lot in advance.

The belt should have a tensioner.  The pulley likely has a bolt in the end that can only be removed with an impact gun, unless you can fix the shattered pulley in place so that you can take out the bolt (I don''t know the extent of the damage).  Then, there should be a key in the shaft.  Be careful not to lose or damage it.  Use a puller to remove the pulley if it doesn''t just slide off the shaft easily.
