well it depends on how well it maintained. my car has 250 thousand on it and is just fine everything works even the a/c. the cars are usually made to last about 750,000 miles if maintained properly. because of how economical they are. some people just use them until they die and then throw them away or LEASE them for a couple years and dont take care of them at all. so the answer is that it just depends. my car will probably last much much longer.

It was well maintained and has all record. It was owned by a older lady. 750,000 thats alot lol.

yea the 90-93s run strong as long as the timing belt doesnt break they will just chug along forever. the pre 90 FI accords even more so. they are slow as crap but you cant get em to break down

almaj2006 -> RE: I am blessed (3/25/2006 7:48:24 PM)

i hope its atleast a 90. but I am really wanting a 94+

longneck8769 -> RE: I am blessed (3/25/2006 11:50:51 PM)

the 86-89 accord lxi FI engines in my opinion are the best engine honda ever made mine has 430,00 miles with original motor and tranny

WheelBrokerAng -> RE: I am blessed (3/26/2006 12:02:30 AM)

1991 with 218,000 miles on it...but then that doesn't really make a difference because I also have a 1987 Mercury GrandMarquis I bought brand new and it has 284,000 miles on it.

So if you think you can get 750,00 miles on that car then let us know when you do...I'll be waiting for that day...[sm=gears.gif]

Than whatever you get will be alright with you it seems...after all you did say it was FREE and that makes it alright no matter what year it may be...
