The only things your friend needs to finish and get started are an upgraded fuel pump, dsm 450cc injectors, chipped ECU for whatever motor he''s using, tuning software, boost gauge, wideband a/f, oil press gauge. Recommend using a 3" exhaust for that turbo. Just use some NGK BKR7E plugs.

He doesnt need a full ignition system or built motor, if its tuned right he can run 12-15psi on a stock block.

Tell him to swap to OBD1 if he can. Makes things a lot easier.

No emissions crap to deal with, much better and easier ECU tuning options and software. A lot of it has to do with how OBD1 ECU''s are operated and setup from the factory and easily modified/manipulated.

how costly is it to swap from obd2 to obd1  and what exactly is involved, is it simply swapping out ecus?
