Hi All, I recently moved to an area that gets a decent amount of snow and winter weather (Northwestern PA, lake effects, etc.) so I''m planning on buying some winter tires this coming, um, winter. Anyway, can anyone give me some insight on what to look for in snow tires? Good brands/models. Pros and cons of studded vs. studless tires. thanks in advance.

I live in NH and have studless generic snow tires. they work great for me. Its more how you drive the car in the weather than the tires themselve. I personally dont think studded tires are needed, however they do help.
