Pretty good reviews. 3 way seems to be a lil excessive for front speakers...but nonetheless if unamped it''''ll give crystal clear mids/highs and then when amped the true potential of the speaker comes out....which is basically the bass. speakers are a steal at 50 dollars.

Pioneers providing good bass, huh?  What model are they (I''m guessing they are 6x9 since they''re int he back) and about how much did they cost you?

I can get these for $50, but crutchfield says they do not fit my model accord.  Anyone know why this is?

Haha, I''m in the process of installing my door speakers up front.. I said F the "Honda Acura speaker spacers" and just hacksawed the sheetmetal to make the speaker fit flush.

These are the spacers....

http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=142SAH6

The cutouts in the doors are not exact fit for 6.5" speakers... The stock speakers have a case around them that fits into an odd shaped opening. You either need these brackets to make 6.5"s fit... or you need to do some hacking at the sheetmetal... I chose the latter.

You don''t need a wiring harness if you''re only doing speakers... Just cut off the plugs that go to the stock speakers, and splice into the new speakers.

This is assuming it''s the same as the 7th gen Accords.

Lol briggz...i chose the more humane route. spacers are exactly as they sound. look on eBay for a cheap pair. if you got a 7th gen..remove the sticky plastic/felt thingy around the speaker housing to make it fit flush. i got alpine monsters lurking behind the stock panel...hehe...sleeper.
