okay, I''ll jump those buggers. I''ll say this... though, I''ve tired using a ac re-charge, and it said I was all charged up. So I''m thinking it''s something else.

Do you mean a recharge bottle with its own little pressure gauge? Then maybe it IS something different. A manifold/gauge set is better because it shows low AND HIGH side pressures. If the pressures are good and it works when you jumper the pressure switch, then its probably a bad pressure switch.
