there are a few minor mods, either modify the stock motor mount or buy a hasport one, then a few wiring mods but thats it

well today i got some time and dug into the manifold and cleaned it a little. its amazing the gunk and dirt that build up in these things. question. is it possible and worth it to bypass the egr valve on the manifold?

very possible, most people just put a plate in that blocks it. My Skunk2 manifold doesnt even make it a option to run a EGR valve.

actually talked to my dad and he said just that, have a gasket template made into a solid plate. luckily for me the plenum separates from the assembly so i can actually port the top a bit too.

If I may chime in, I did the f23 manifold swap on my f22b1 Accord. It''s not as easy as it looks, and people claimed to see a 10hp increase with it and the Hondata intake manifold gasket. The only difference I noticed was I could hear Vtec come in and hear more air in the manifold itself. It''s weird but I feel there was an increase in performance. No dyno results though. You do have to buy an adapter plate though for the IACV, which I paid 50 dollars for, and extend a few wires along with coolant lines. It takes time to do the swap. I do have two f22b1 intake manifolds lying around that I am going to clean them up and sell, possibly port them if you''re interested.

i was thinkint about the f23 but thought it was too expensive and complicated. i do already have an f22b2 intake manifold cleaned and ripped apart. i want to port this one but thanks for the offer. i need more or less now advice on how to port it. my dad told me if i do too much it might actually make things worse. any advice there and how much and where to port it? thanks
