You will see significant boost if you can tune it well and not spend a lot of money. A rear mounted turbo, STS performance, is set up differently than one that is under the hood.  The trim and AR''s are taylored for the cooler exhaust gas at the rear.  The main pros for their setup are that it fits almost every car since it goes where a resonator or muffler would be otherwise and it runs a whole lot cooler.  The cons are that this setup is not that common, could have trouble tuning since not many techs are familiar with it and it could be really hard to pipe up the charge pipe from the turbo to the intake.
