Save?  I have no need to defend my choice of cars.  I like it and so do a lot of other people.  A lot of people hate it; that''s ok too.  It''s my car, not theirs.

Also, a forum friend of mine is going to be racing a 2008 M3 soon.  I can''t wait to see what happens!  He''s pushing 9.4 psi from a T3/T04E and putting down 310 whp and 272 wtq on stock internals.  He also has launch control and no-lift-shifting via N2MB WOT BOX ..... not the best 2-step, but it works.

Well you turned that insult around pretty quick. Personally, I like tC''s a lot, I was just building off of cjdm''s comment :D.

I would like a WOT box, but I feel it takes away the talent and finesse you need to properly drive a manual.

True, but you still have to do 1st gear, unless you are dump launching.  Slip launching is faster in my car anyway, so I won''t be doing much of that.  The no-lift-shift feature improves acceleration drastically on a turbo manual because you don''t have to blow off the charge between gears.  That can be worth almost a half second on a quarter mile!
