91 Accord, Water Pump Noise - 5/24/2006 4:57:50 PM    joe592   Posts: 15 Joined: 4/4/2006 Status: offline I just repleaced the timing belt and water pump on a 91 accord. Now there is a whining noise only at idle that seems to be coming from the water pump. My friend's 95 also makes the same noise that started after he changed his timing belt, but we figured that was becuase he used a generic water pump. I don't think the belt is overly tight, so if you have any ideas please let me know. Just a thought... if you're going to check the tension it wouldn't be to much harder to replace the pump and it will save your engine down the road.... (in reply to Chiovnidca) Post #: 3
