Hello, I just bought a 98 honda accord coupe as a you. I used to be into muscle car and that ended after i got bored. So i'm trying the import stuff. I'm going to start with installing bolt on stuff to the exterior. Anyone have the steps to install the aftermarket projector headlights and tail lights? Also any suggestions in the color of the headlights and tail lights. I have a Black Accord v6.

As far as a suggestion for the 'type' or color of headlight housing, I'd go with black. Your lucky because you could use black, chrome, gunmetal, or you could match it to your paint. I'd be hard pressed to tell you how to install them, it would depend on the kind you have, and if they are the standard OEM or retro-fitted HID.

Yea it's just a direct bolt on. No mods nec. And i think i am going to go with the balck because the chrome will stand out too much. and white on black look like poop. I think i'm going to buy a repair manual, they should have the steps in there.

it's actually a pretty easy install....i put some cleared headlights in my 99 sedan today.....it took about an hour or two....i just took the snaps off the top of the bumper and the screws that attach the bumper to the fender(on the edge of the bumper) and pulled the bumper down....you can take the whole bumper off if you take the snaps to the radiator shield, but i always break them so i didn't do it and also you can take the reinforcement bar off too which will prob make things easier but i really didn't have much trouble with the way i did it.....there's two bolts on the bottom of the headlight right next to eachother, one on top, and one on the side.....just get a socket wrench and go to town....when putting the new ones in, the bracket the on the bottom of the headlight can be a pain to get lined up to the holes but once you get them started it's cake.....put the bumper back on and you're set

Looks great man. Would you mind getting a close up shot? I'm strongly considering doing the whole projector/HID kit. Thanks.
