I think you've already decided, but if you don't want to spend a whole lot then an SRI wouldn't be bad. AEM makes a really good one which comes with the dryflow filter for around 100, or you could even do an ebay SRI for 30bucks.

As advised early, the AEM V2 is pretty much the best CAI out there.

so to increase my speed this is my plan. 1. intake 2. Header 3. Spark Plug 4. Exhaust is there anything else that i can get that will help? besides new engine and turbo of course that cost a tad too much for my bank. Also on top of getting those 4 items must i change anything else? My car is stock and wondered if i need to replace anything to make it stronger for those 4 items. Don't want my car to break down on me while i drive >_<

Get a strut bar. Holds engine tighter. DC Sports is probably one of the best manufacturers.

These mods are like bolt on, so the stock should be able to handle it. As long as you don't plan to lower your car, it should be fine.

No...two fingers is about 2", the stock shocks should be able to handle it. Get a coilover kit.

i just installed my v2 intake a couple of weeks ago (took me around 3-4 hrs) and i really recommend it, not too sure if i get an 18hp increase like it says on the AEM web site, but i do feel quicker. For what i paid its definitely worth it

I know I didn't get 18 hp, but even the 3-6 ponies I did get I enjoyed.

get IceMan intake...I did, LOVE IT! Its not cheap aluminum...made outta pastic, blue, red, black, or yellow, its CAI and Short Ram...how can you go wrong? PLUS it doesnt get hot because its plastic, it keeps the air cooler than aluminum :)
