I will probably do the wheels that way next week, I just figured it would be easier to get them nice and clean to actually take them off and go sit in the garage and work on them instead of laying on the ground. I can probably get them done quicker any way. I have had those wheels looking pretty sharp before, if I have to I will do that again, but I want to use the WP as some kind of sealer. Hopefully, they won't start to look bad in a week.

Thanks for the sunny weather tips, I was putting it on the wheels and it was just drying up. It is only in the low 90s today, I figured it would be a nice day. Besides, it is just way too humid for any personal comfort, as it rained a ton yesterday.

By the way, I haven't used the WP on the paint....in fact, I haven't waxed it in a bit either.

OOPS! I assumed you had done the paint too....it really didn't pop like I would have expected which is why I said it looked "nice". Do the paint and post some more pics. Wheelbroker has one that, for some reason, he won't post here. It is absolutely a blow you away pic. Hound him until he shows it here. Do yours and let's see it!

Well, first I am going to do my brother's car. He is off to basic training and air force tech school on Wednesday, we will do his car tomorrow.

My car got hit and run last weekend in Houston and it ripped off the front bumper, I will be taking it to the shop on Wednesday, will probably have it before the weekend (I hope) or sometime next week. So I am waiting until it is all back together before I do any body detailing. I want to get the wheels fixed up before I take it in if I have time.

I just tried the stuff on his car, just a test for now.....did you have any trouble with swirl marks?? Maybe I used too much pressure or something. I gotta wash some towels before we do much to it, I just had a few small ones left. I will take pics before and after tomorrow on his car.

Air Force boot? So he's enjoying San Antonio's mild climate, eh?

Cool, you will probably find that my name comes from that player. I used the name in a fantasy baseball gm league and I have used it since. One of my favorite players....

I just made that up in photoshop, thought it would be cool.

Here are some pics of his car. We pretty much did only Wet Paint, although a few areas are scratchX too from Meguiars. There are still some swirls on his paint, it is an absolute pain to buff for some strange reason. I don't think it is the product, but the paint.

I am working on sizing the pictures of the whole car now, here are some before/after ones I made up.

Here are some pics of his car now:

I will have some of mine as soon as I get it repaired and get a chance to detail it up.

Considering that the car is in bad need of a machine polish I think the WP did a fantastic job. The paint went from dull to bright & reflective. The oxidation was removed also, good work and thanks for the pictures. Please do the same with your car.

Yeah it needs a machine polish.....bad swirls. I dripped sweat on it right before we did it, it wouldn't even wipe off :(.

I don't have a good quality buffer, just one of those consumer-type orbital ones. We would like to polish his car, but I don't want to screw things up. What would I need to do??
