Fireball that car looks like it has had a new paint job. That looks so good. The wet paint did that? It's really amazing!!! The rims even looks shinier.

I haven't seen one of those that has enough power to get rid of swirls nor do they have the assortment of pads required. Nothing short of a Porter Cable, Cyclo, or rotary machine will remove them. You can make it look better by applying the WP several times though. It gets easier each time as it layers upon itself and helps hide the marks while deepening the gloss. Frankly I think the transformation is pretty incredible. Your brother will be thrilled........right before they shave his head!!!!!

Yeah I can't wait to get my car fixed so I can put it on there. My paint is 10x higher quality and only 6mos old. It will look insane. Also, that paint isn't too old....about a year and a half. But it was a $300 paint job and didn't stay nice long.

Now that I know more about the paint I would not attempt to machine polish that $300 paint job. The layer of paint will be so thin that it would likely cause more problems than it fixes. The rough surface will get smoother as more layers of WP are applied.

Gotcha.....it looks better than it did before anyway (i.e. extremely faded). I will probably put more WP on it later, gotta work on my own car.

Wet Paint on wheels.....wow I took off one of my wheels and wet painted it. Cleaned it up real good with my engine cleaning gun and simple green first. Then I put about 4 coats on. Finished it off by putting some shine on the tire. It looks sweet, the best it has looked since I have had it. Obviously it didn't remove the chips and all but it looks GREAT for a 16 year old wheel. Well, back out into the humidity hell to do another one. I spent an hour on this one, will probably only get one more done tonight.
