ORIGINAL: WhyNotFab I live in Florida btw, I read the DIY deserthonda posted and he suggested Mobil 1 Synthetic, 10w-10. I guess I'd probably go with that :) i got to read that but if i suggested 10w-10 than i misspelled it,,,,,,,,,,if you have the money to use syntetic than use mobil 1 ,, since you reside in florida i'd use 5w-30 or 10w-30 if you do not have the money for syntetic than use any major brands 10w-30 or 5w-30 Ditto on Mobil 1. There's been nothing but Mobil 1 since day 1 in our 92 and it runs as good as day 1, too.

put 2.5 qts,, start the car, go through the gears, turn car off and recheck fluid level .. add if needed... make sure that car is on level ground ..

Vehicle must be in park, transmission hot, (at least 10 miles driving) and engine at idle. Measure quart marks on a five gallon bucket and as a quart pumps out - add a quart. This works great since ALL fluid is pumped out including the converter. Note: Some vehicles pump out fluid faster than you can add it. If/When this happens - shut the engine off until you can catch up.

Just changed my oil last night actually. I use 10w-30 Mobil 1. It's the best out there. Unfortunately it is about $6-$7 a quart. But if u really want the BEST oil, Redline 10w-30. You'll only find it at import performance shops. It's like 10 bux a bottle.
