I don't have direct experience (I'm too cheap) but from what I have heard the V2 is one of the best intakes to get. I guess that the actual intake tube is like a tuned pipe and the air somehow gets resonated into the manifold faster and effeciently. Like I said though, I don't have first hand experience. I have had experience with K&N and Neuspeed and they make a good intake but for the $10 my sri cost on ebay I'm not disapointed.

i felt a gain throughout the whole rpm range. It seemed to pull harder than b4, and it was bit more peppy on the peddle. As for mpg....i may have lost some, cuz i drive it harder than usual lol

I just put the AEM v2 less than 2 weeks ago. Didnt think it did anything until I got outta the neighborhood and I couldnt believe the difference. I was very satisfied. I've noticed that it kicks in every gear once u get to 2500RPM's. K&N makes an awesome filter, just not for japanese made cars in my opinion. They work great in my buddy's jeep and my friend's truck tho. Definitely go w/ the AEM, in my opinion. Just make sure u dont order it straight from AEM, they've got the most expensive price. Where do u live by the way?

I got a V2 intake and I felt the differance. Its well worth it, but I just hydrolocked my engine. it cost me 1800 to replace it. I dont think the V2 has a bypass valve for it. If you live some where with poor drainage its not worth it get the short ram.
