Guys, I am doing a bit of research as i have found that you guys in the USA have the Coupe version of the Accord. What is the going rate, for the 2007 Accord Coupe LX-V6? I am looking for the 275bhp version (if you get it). The Honda website show it as 244bhp, is this due to emissions restrictions? http://automobiles.honda.com/models/model_overview.asp?ModelName=Accord+Coupe The non-coupe spec in the Gulf is 275bhp. I am looking for white, auto. Any help would be appreciated. If I can get a good deal through a dealership, i may import one. Cheers

first of the accord is rated at 244hp there is no other version of the V6.......if you use 91 octane you get 10 hp more but that is an expensive way to get hp..... if you want 270+ hp V6 from honda you need to get an Acura......

no.... exhaust collectors are cast into the cylander head so putting on headers is out stock exhaust is already pretty good you might get extra hp but you can get the same gains by replacing the "j" pipe Intake will get some ponies but not too many... supposidly you can Super charge it but I have seen only 1 person do it and he spent a buttload of cash for custom work. with the weight of the 7th gen accords approaching 3500lbs you are better off getting a used CL type S and putting headers on that (that WILL give you 30 HP). Not to mention a Manual Trans I got headers and I am now down into the mid 5's to 60 and should be at 14 through the quarter mile... next come the intake and that should get me to 300HP crank 300 HP CL type S is a bad ass coupe.....

Guys, Thanks for the replies, however, I was just curious as to why we have 275bhp compared to your 244bhp, with the same powerplant? I was hoping that maybe it was just State to State due to emissions restrictions, but obviously not. So, what are the best prices around for the LX-V6? Is it as stated on the website?

different HP rating method I would guess....you might be using an older standard....here they changed to a new standard........and that may account for the diffferences..... 7th gen cars are kinda hard to modify simply because you are pretty much left to the intake side of the engine for HP gains....you have to start doing internal work to get more HP due to collectors being cast as part of the cly head.......the new acuras are the SAME way........
