Then What May Be The Cause?

I'll start the forum with a Question and we shall see what kind of answers we will get.
This is not ment to make someone feel dumb, but is being started to HELP some one out there with any problems they may be running into with they're Honda Cars:

Yes I am ASE Certified and Have been licensed since 1989 by ASE so I do have a lot of the answers and they will be correct.

Timing, bad gas, dirty injectors, plugs bad or wrong gap, fuel filter needs cleaned/replaced...uhh...clutch majorly slipping. Detonation could cause it maybe..i'll never have the setup or power to really do that bad enough.lol

Let's see here...
MAXST2 has hit on the following answers to my question...
#1 spark plugs fouled or (electrodes worn out) in too many miles..Good*
#2 Dirty fuel injectors that may need replaced ..Good*
#3 Fuel Filter needs replaced (clogged) ..Good*

And here are two others that can be wrong with the situation...
#4 Incorrect Ignition Timeing
#5 Intake Manifold Air Leak (hard to find , but easy to hear)...

I will put in another Question session if any one liked this one..
Please let me know if this was liked and I will continue..

Thanks and Later...

I know that for my year ('93) Honda released a bulliten that the lil plugs on the top of the intake manifold can get dirty and essentially screw up the airflow and i replaced them because mine was being twitchy on acceleration thru 3rd and it definitly helped the problem..but thats just my own special case

Hello Boneylad...Is this your final answer???/

Here all all the main answers to my question...

#1 Spark Plugs Fouled
#2 Fuel Injector System Is Faulty
#3 Fuel Filter Is Clogged (too many Big Mac's)
#4 Incorrect Ignition Timing
#5 Intake Manifold Has An Air Leak

Of course I can back this up with furthur diagonostic wording such as #1 Check your spark plug gap 0.039 to 0.043 inch--Spark Plug Wire Resistence: Less than 25000 ohms--Ignition Timing 15+/-2 degrees and on your 4 cyl : Engine firing order 1-3-4-2 distributor rotates clock wise...
More information will be posted on the next 4 #'s for you if you'd like...I'd be Happy to Teach as I am also Happy to learn from you members...
If your enjoying this form ...please let me know and I will continue on

Hi. Any codes set? CEL on? If the engine is misfiring, as you reply suggests with fouled plugs and the other answers, the computer will cause a DTC for either random cylinder misfire OR cylinder misfire on 1,2,3, or 4. The fuel filter will cause another code, usually a/f too rich or too lean. An intake manifold leak will ususally present itself as a erratic or jumping idle.

Shoot me some codes, and I will pull out the shop manuals. I work for Honda so maybe I can help!

Hello Wheel, I need some help really bad.....my 93 accord LX instrument cluster is acting crazy. First the speedo started acting irratic, sometimes it will register right and other times it goes to 35mph and stays there. At idle, the speedo sometimes will slowly creep down to about 12mph.....now the fuel gauge is acting stupid. Could you help me please. My personal email is darryl.travis@eustis.army.mil

Thank you

That's how my speed sensor acted before it quit on me. It could be that. But if the fuel gauge is acting up, it could be the cluster I guess... unless the sending unit is scewing up too.
