Do you guys want to hear a sad thing? As you may know of, the typical F1 racing car and the Saleen S7 are the only cars that CAN, CAN, CAN go upside down once fast enough. I found somewhere that all the F1 needs is 100 mph. Now, considering that I have SEEN this done by an F1 on the Speed channal (thats right, NATIONAL TELEVISION!) and last time I checked they arent media twits that lie through their teeth, and yet I get laughed by people to my face saying its "impossible" or "you cant create that much down force". Who has been passing out the stupid pills again? Would someone please help me find some detailed information on this? A video would be even better. I have a $100 bet on this and Im so confident that I will win it, since I have seen the damn video of this a car doing it before. I am just annoyed and frustrated on how people can be stupid and not think logically. You'd think, We will be going to mars in a few years and we have yet to have a car that can drive upside down? Give me a break!

no matter how foolproof something is- there will always be a better idiot......

with regard to the tunnel thing.....i think i have seen it too-im positive i remember it from somewhere..
anyway, if a plane can create lift from a wing, and take off; surely a wing can also make you stay down.......common sense prevails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's simple...If the force created by air (which can be great from what nature shows Florida) is greater than the weight that gravity places on the car than...it can fly technically. Therefore it can drive upside down. This has been a Miseducation by 6thgen. Aeordynamics do no more than force air in the appropriate direction for the desired results. Up, down, out the way, etc. For cars made to drive a up to 200+ mph...The force is obviously down. Because when lift is created...you get to see the videos above.

well since (bear with me, my physics is a little rusty)
weight = mass * gravitational force

if the downforce is greater than the weight it would create lift while upside down-thus making the car 'stick' to the roof of the tunnel- since gravity is a constant the lighter the car, the less downforce needed

not sure if this is entirely correct; but i think you (remington) could prove that your right by a formula????
