Hey guys I was wondering if I could just buy a climate control from an EX accord and put it in my LX.   Would it just bolt in or are there other issues that would make it not worth doing??  I would like to have climate control in my car but if it is too much trouble then I will have to go without it.  Thanks

I don't think it'd be difficult but I can't imagine it's a cheap upgrade....You'd need the main control center, and the sensors, other than that I think you'd be fine....

I found one of the control units on sale at a local junk yard for about $75.00.  Where are the sensors located.  I hoped they would be integrated into the control unit.

to be honest with you I don't know where they are located.... If it's in a junkyard though I'd take out your current setup and take it in, compare the connections.... if there is no difference you may be able to pull it off easily... .if there is a difference trace the wires and that way you should be able to get the whole thing all at once!

hi guys,
did anyone find out about the climate control unit - whether it will just work out of the box?

also do you need this if you install heated leather seats?

Kind regards

I don't think heated seats and climate control are intergrated in anyway.

you can easily install aftermarket heated seats without climate control....
