just got this new Insignia CD-player so i can throw my stock one into the river it all worked out until i was trying to put the radio in the dash and the red wire(12v power) popped out so I was like shit, so I reconnect and it WONT WORK I check the fuses in the car and its good, also the fuses on the back of the cdplayer and they are fine. one thing I realized was there is a red indicated LED on the radio behind the face plate, and it blinks with my red wire unpluged, is that because of the memory wire? can some1 tell me what to do, I will check the fuses under the hood tmrw cuz iz raining. btw, what kinda car kit should I get for my accord and where can I get it? cuz earlier today I went to pepboys and they gave me the wrong one and they dont have the right one in stock.

The red wire popped out of what? The stock radio harness? Or the harness for the new radio? If it popped out of the stock radio harness, look at the other pins and see how they go in. Its prolly a metal piece, then the harness has a little plastic clip that comes down. Slide the metal piece back in the same way as the others, then push that plastic piece down hard. If you think its making good contact, check to see if your getting 12v from the wire. If your not then its a fuse somewhere.
