One flash with no secondary code is ABS pump motor over-run

Below is a list of possible causes:

• Air mixed in the ABS brake fluid.
• Pressure switch stuck OFF
• Open circuit between the pressure switch and ABS control unit
• Open circuit in the P-SW circuit between the pressure switch and body ground, or a poor ground
• Drop in pump discharge volume
• Leaking outlet valve
• Leaking relief valve
• ABS brake fluid leakage
• Faulty ABS control unit

I would check the easy and cheap fixes:
  1. Check to make sure there is fluid.  I found it hard to see the level when mine was low.
  2. Bleed any air out of the modulator. (instructions below)

-1. Fill the reservoir to the MAX (upper) level with fresh brake fluid.
-2. Connect the rubber tube to the bleeder on the modulator unit, and set the other end of the rubber tube in a container.
-3. Loosen the bleeder, and start the engine to activate the pump motor.
NOTE: Take care not to spill the brake fluid from the container.
-4. Tighten the bleeder when the fluid starts to flow out of the bleeder.
-5. Stop the engine after the pump motor stops
NOTE: If the ABS indicator light comes on and the pump motor stops, restart the engine and repeat steps 3 through 5 above.

Try the suggestions above your post about the fluid and bleeding the fluid and that may resolve your issues, if not then we'll start into testing.... is it leaking fluid at all?

I posted the list of possible problems (three posts up) that would trigger the error code that you provided.  The first flash is the main code (1), then there was no second flash (0).  The problem is ABS pump motor over-run, and the error comes up beause the ABS pump motor is running for over 40 seconds without the ABS being used.

The easiest and cheapest problems from that list are:
1.  low brake fluid level
2.  air in the abs module

LOL what?  It made a sound like it broke, and that "fixed it"?  So is your ABS working?  And where did the mirror thing come from?  Although they ARE sweet, a buddy of mine just got a Denali with power folding mirrors, its so cool lol.
