i've had my honda for about 11 months its a 98 ex coupe 4cyl. It's 17k kilometers, and the maintain light is on. It turns up few months ago. Does anyone kows how to turn off the maintain light?
there is a little slot to the left of the light/odometer, just put the key in there and it should reset (you may have to hold it down for a few seconds)

Not for '98...
Turn off the car. Press & hold the odometer reset button while you turn on the key (no need to actually start the engine). Continue holding that button for maybe 20 seconds more. Maint. lamp will flash & then turn off. Done for another 7500 miles.
Busy with my daughter's car. One tie-rod end balljoint separated on her... In Belden Village parking lot. (I hope she knows how lucky she wasn't driving...) Then I changed her timing belt too.

No. There's lots of Blake listings in the Canton phone book, I'm not related to any of them!
ps... Yours came apart in a parking lot too? Lucky.
The towtruck driver told my daughter he recently towed someone who's tie rod came apart while they were driving on the highway. That could have had a really bad ending...
