I know, I have searched the forum for these but just wanted some straightforward answers. Once I get a job w/ more hours I plan on getting a set of black housed projectors. I have seen many people say that the light output is worse, but then another guy with an Accord that is in my town says when he had them, they were fine. So in reality, what should I expect from the $100 eBay projectors. Next, is there any sort of reason why TYC makes the projectors that aren't one pieces? I am also curious as how to turn the halo rings themselves on? I have seen blue, and reg. clear lens right in front of the bulb, would the blue ones cut down light or be illegal? Lastly, any brands to stay away from or that you recommend? I'd rather not have my halos burn out after a few months.

Oh yeah, have you guys heard anything about the Silverstar Ultras? $50 for bulbs....they've got to be good! I wonder if they are much better than the reg. Silverstars. And with the Silverstars, is the light more white, or does it look like the hid blue.

Those look great! Still have the following questions though,

I have seen blue, and reg. clear lens right in front of the bulb, would the blue ones cut down light or be illegal?
Any brands to stay away from or that you recommend?
Is there any sort of reason why TYC makes the projectors that aren't one pieces?
I see that some include an H1 bulb, what is that? How much would it be to replace those, are they hard to find, and couldnt I just use Sylvania Silverstar Ultras?

I had some with the blue light and they did just fine I guess because the bulb is so great in it.
