Wheel size question for 2005 Accord - 1/25/2007 10:40:20 AM    marlon   Posts: 4 Joined: 1/25/2007 Status: offline Hi there, I am new to this forum. I thought about selling my Accord 2005 LX pearl color and buying an Acura TSX, but I said heck, my Accord is an excellent car and I am getting good fuel economy, why not keep it and save the money! So here we go:what I feel I need to do is makemy Accord look nicer. My questions are: 1) If I want to put nice wheels on my car, should I typically be looking to replace the tires as well? The car has 22,000 miles and has the original tires. I am wondering whether typically nice looking wheels can be mounted using the original tires which are 15'' (so that I don't need to spend money on tires). Please advise on that. 2) How about the rear 'spoiler' (not sure if that's what you call). Is that something you guys are doing on Accords and does that look nice? 3) I am wondering how the changes 1) and 2) above would decrease or increase the market value of my car? 4) Please see attached wheel from wheelsnext.com and opine on whether you think it would look good in my car (pearl). Please note that the wheel is available in black and gun metal colors. Let me know if there is any type of wheel that would better in this case (perhaps one that doesn't have big gaps showing the brake dishes...). (in reply to marlon) Post #: 2
