i think hes saying that because most auto's dont survive much longer after having a turbo put on them,   but yeah, its not just auto supra's that have them,  volvo's     the wrx  and a few others
ultimately its up to the quality of the trans that decides how well it holds up

I would agree, with an auto I wouldn't go over 8 psi and make sure that you have an intercooler on the tranny to help it out...

yeah i might go with the turbo...i looked around and the turbo kit is about 3-4 where as the super charger is about 4-5 which is a little too much for me because as i said before i was willing to spend 3-4 g's only... and another car that i know that has turbo is a legacy...my friend has one and its a auto also...but anyhow does anyone know where i can find a decent turbo kit and tranny cooler at????

For turbos i seen people build there own kit by buying stuff off ebay. This usually cost them around 1-2g. If you want the whole kit with no hastle i hear turbokentics(hope i spelled it close enough) is very good. For a tranny cooler i heard you can get one off ebay for like $40 bucks. there also another way of power up your car, by going to the junk yard and picking off superchargers off old benz. I dont know if this is ture but i heard a guy take a benz superchrager from a junk yard benz and put it in his 93 accord lx manual. It gave him 50 ponies. h was running i tink 170hp or 180hp although i dont know if its true.
