Hi I m interest in installing HID for my car.
Question is. should I just buy the HID kit and installed on OEM headlight?
or Should i go buy Projector headlight?

Because most projector headlight  are not for HID kit

Does the OEM headlight will output too much light for HID light?

i have my h.i.ds on oem headlights i like it better on non projector headlight becaue if u notice like on maximas and bmws when theyre in front of u they look deep blue but when they pass u up or if u look on the ground it sort of look like just a white light, on my oem headlight the whole street light up a violet blue color even white cars, but i do think i bind people cuz at least once a night someone flashes me thinking i got high beams on.

If your headlights are adjusted correctly you shouldn't be blinding anyone. And 2002haccord, the reason projectors do that is b/c the way it splits up the light, from certain angles it looks blue when the light is really white. Stock BMWs and Benzes have 6000k HIDs which is why the light is white, not b/c of the projectors. If you put 8000k or higher in a projector the light would still come out blue, and even bluer at those different angles. I think HIDs look better in a flood light then a projector, just b/c the whole light fills with the HID color and not just a small projector lens.

Defiantly go for 8000k if you want a tint of blue, 6000k are just white.

I have the HID for my high and low beam, and I have the stock headlight housings. They are actually a cooler bulb, only being a 35watt bulb, and your regular headlight bulb being 55watts.  It's up to you if you want the projecters, but you don't have to.  I can post a pic of low and then high and low together.  I have the 8000k.  I love them.

i wouldnt say my 6000k are white they arent as blue as 8000k theyre more if a light blue but id rather that than really blue anyways its bluer than factory hids so its good

those look like a nice pair of xenons but theyre not real HID conversion kits

hid conversions kits come with two HID Xenon Plasma bulbs (or watever theyre called) two ballasts to run the bulbs and wires to connect everything. its not quite as easy as replacing a bulb but almost basically i thought the hardest part was lookin for a place to mount the ballasts and mounting them. i hung them on existing screws i jsut tightened it enough so it wouldnt swing around or anything. i should have mounted it better but it works and looks pretty sturdy to me. but yea basically switch your stock bulbs with the HID bulbs mount the ballasts and plug everything up. HID bulbs plug into the ballast and the ballasts plugs into a stock harness. i think i should cover the loose harness but i think it should be fine.

however if you dont wanna spend 100-300 on an HID conversion kit those bulbs are a lil better than stock theyre not as yellow and a bit brighter. cheaper imitation brands might burn out faster than sylvania or PIAA though. the color may look the same but the light output is much better with real HIDs

10000k on my high beams are crazy! man i can see literally for miles, i have had people stop in the middle of the road because they cant see, they wait for me to pass and then they proceed. man its so cool. not to mention on the highway thyre awesome. have you seen my picture? oh i als put green hids in and they ook sick, suprisingly i didnt get pulled over for having them, had them in there for a week but just changed them back to 10000k. ill post pics soon.
