Well that is it, i finally will graduate onto a honda, a 2002 Coupe to be exact (black or silver). I have a dealer friend looking for one as we speak. Trying to find a 5-speed manual EX. Anyhow, i am so happy for me that i went looking for rims so i can order them as soon as i get the car. I like a big lip and was originally thinking a gunmetal / dark silver middle (spokes) with some brighter metal for the outter edge / lip. Im looking at 18"s. Anyhow, ive found a pair i like from Enkei the PK6 but i cant figure out if the middle is a different color from the outside or if that is just the reflection.... These are the rims, i hope the link works for you guys as you may have to be logged in for it, but none the less... http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findWheelDetail.do?yr=2001&wd=18&c=1&pc=51109&rw=7.5&bp=4-100&vid=007201 The rims are the Enkei PK6 with an AM finish 18"s Though i love the lip size of these, im not sure if the whole part is one color (dark gray) or if the outter edge is different, i cant tell from the picture. I tried calling tech support but they dont know either :(. What do you guys think of them and are they of 2 different colors? Also, does anyone know any other Nice rims with a big lip that have sort of a black / silver inner/outter parts? The spoke count does not really matter too much but i it seems i like the "riveted" look, where you have a bunch of tiny screws around the whole thing even though this particual rim does not. Im also looking for suggestions on other rims with a bigger lip 2"+ i hope. Any suggestions, ideas? The price range id like to stay with is probably less then $200 per rim if possible. I wish they had these rims below with a bigger lip... from the picture it does ot look too big. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findWheelDetail.do?yr=2001&wd=18&c=1&pc=64996&rw=7.5&bp=4-114.3&vid=007201 Thanks, im hopeing the Accord pro forum will suggest something nice as i am rather a newbie when it comes to wheels.

Your lip won't be that big...the offset for the accord, make sthe lip, smaller. Axis has the biggest lip for your car...and they're kinda pricey. Check out www.wheelsnext.com and www.wheelmax.com they have good deals. A good search on ebay may warrant exactly what your looking for. As far as the Enkei's go, the lip is machined (silver), but it won't be that big. the Konig is a nice wheel in person and that's how big your lip will be.

So, from what you are saying, the picture does not represent the actual rim lip i would get? That is determined by the offset? Also, the axis rims would have a similar lip to the konig's i showed? Hmm, so the offset determines the lip size? I figured they could always curve the spokes back to have more lip around the edges. Yeah the axis rims are pretty pricey and don't catch my attention as much. The wheelmax site is great though, the packages you can get are pretty cheap, Thanks! The hunt is still on, for the rims and the car :)

The hunt is still on, for the rims and the car :) Yes the lip size is determined by the offset and width of the wheel...and no the picture does not represnt the actual lip that you would get...and no the Axis lip is deeper than the Konig and yes the spokes can be curved back which Axis masters at. The downside to them if you tried to get a big brake kit with some of those extreme curved spoke wheels it won't fit. Also try www.victoriatire.com

[/Random Ramble] The auto tranny is crappy on reliability especially for modded V6's.

Well, i'd never buy a car with an auto anyway, i just cant have any fun in it. I opted for the i4 just to avoid the auto. Ive heard of people swapting the auto tranny in a v6 but this just seems like too much work, plus if i had that much money id opt for the new 6-speed accords anyway. Overall I wish lip size was one of the numbers reported by wheel sites for the specific wheel. Calling them rarely works. The hunt for the rims is still on. Going to try your suggestion now.
