i tried to ask about this in the DIY section but i dont really think people really read those sections i know i barely do

Is it easy to install new springs in a 04 sedan? like can my dad and i do it at home instead of taking it out to a shop? do we need any special tools that maybe we can rent from autozone?

The eibach prokit lowers the car 1.4 front/1.2 rear I want a somewhat sportier stance and a lttle bit better control but not slammed too low

Is this enough or should i try for more with a different kit?

Thanks guys

The only special tools that I know of (other than your regular socket sets, wrenches, etc.) are a pair of 'spring compressors'. Let me see if I can find them...

That's about the only thing I can think of.

Good luck,

Spring compressors are about the only thing I can see that you may need... autozone may rent them.... and 1.4 inches or so is a decent drop, not so much that speed bumps are going to kill you but still enough to look nicer and increase handling.... just be sure if you decide to do it that you make note of the way the cap (top bolts on strut/springs) line up with the lower fork opening so you can re-install it more easily....
