I'm looking for replacment struts for a 97 Accord.  I'm new to this forum by the way, it sounds like the KYB's will be a good replacement, I want to keep the ride hight the same, I always Like Tokico's so I wanted to ask you what you thought about them for Accords?  I also called the local dealership checking on a price for the OEM struts but they were too Expensive! $116 each for the fronts and $120 each for the rears!  I can get a complete Tokico kit for $235  but I know the Kyb's are even cheaper than that, never used them so I don't know much about them, but after reading on this forum for few minutes I read someone recommending KYB's.  any thought/Help would be Great. thanks

KYB's seem to be a forum favorite, lots of good things about them, Tokico's are supposed to be great also, Koni's are my personal favorite.  Any one of the three would work just fine as long as you ordered the right ones (OEM Replacement).

I tow with my 1996 accord and the struts need to be replaced. I was wondering if anyone had any suggesstions on a heavy duty inexpensive replacement strut.

Thanks in advance.

most of your aftermarket struts (like the ones mentioned above) are built to withstand a lot of extra pressure like someone lowering a car, I don't know for sure what would be the best ones to get for a towing application but I would probably just call one of those companies and ask them
